I don't know a whole lot about these, I just followed what was recommended on a previous thread about rechargeable batteries about a year and a half ago. I purchased a recharger called the Eneloop. It is in a green case. Amazon has them-also Ebay. I think the Ebay price was about the same as Amazon- I went with Ebay because I didn't want to pay tax and probably had pay pal money. But it works well- It charges AA ,AAA, also has a thing that converts a AA into a C battery (there are only 2 of these, and a thing that converts a AA into a D battery- (there are only 2 of these. I think that there are rechargeable C & D batteries. I would like to have a handful of both of these, as I have a need for a few of them, too. But I use a lot of AAs, so the Eneloop was a good investment, along with the rechargeable AAs that I read about here. Hope this helps.

Get AAA to AA cases, they're pretty cheap. I only keep AAAs after I found out about them. AAA should put out enough power to keep up with the demand of a AA but might last a little less longer. Someone who knows more might be able to correct me though.

I just got these ones: WAYLLSHINE 16 PCS Clear Color AAA to AA/14500 Battery Holder Converter Adaptor-(Batteries are not included) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0153KY...4zbQM6S9BV

If you have an IKEA near you their standard AA & AAA rechargeable batteries are also on sale for $1@ ($3.99/4). They are also supposedly made at the same Japanese factory that the eneloop batteries are made. I purchased them and their USB battery charger for $2.99. Everything works well so far. One year to return if I don't like them. Their alkaline batteries are also inexpensive ($1.99/10 AA & 2.99/10 AAA). They are located in lighting if you wanted to get in and out, lol.

I always pass these up because I don't have a charger. Wish they would bundle one at a decent price.

Can it be any charger? I assumed it would have to be a "good" quality one so it doesn't damage the batteries.... unless that is ridiculous and not possible.
