Not that this is a bad deal but it was just a buck for a whole year of service.

Sprint sucks in my area, tho. I'm gone after the year promo.

This is completely different from that deal. That deal you had to transfer in a number.

Ah gotcha. That definitely changes things a bit.

If you want a spare phone, and have an unlocked or VM iPhone (wonder if Sprint iPhones work), then this could be a good deal. Most of us already have cell numbers, so transferring isn't a big deal if you're on prepay..

When I was on V there was quite a few spotty places where no service. Frown I live few minutes outside a large city too.
