Star Wars Battlefront II Pre-sell Card - Target - 25 cents

I'm surprised I didn't see this anywhere on here, sorry if I somehow missed it

https://cartwheel.target.com/o/de...s/-/183610

Expires October 14 (tomorrow)

75% off of a dollar isn't much, but it also provides a five dollar target gift card.

Would it be correct to assume red card would provide 5% off?

I'm tempted after playing the beta, but never played the first one and got that for $5 (via PlayStation store) so I'm probably set until this is affordable.

Thank you for posting. Thumbs up. I'm not a gamer so I'm going to pass on this for now since we are so close to Black Friday. In the past Best Buy and Walmart have pretty good discounts on games like this one, if you don't need it now. If history is any indication I'm thinking it should be no higher than $40 during at least one day in the Thanksgiving weekend sales ads. Anyway, thanks again for posting. I'm pretty sure that there is something that is particularly fun about getting it on launch day if you are a fan of the series. You have saved someone a few bucks!

What is a pre-sell card? You are buying the ability to preorder?

I think you get a $5 GC when you go back in and pickup the game.

I think you're better off going GCU, or Amz Prime...

essentially yes, you are putting money towards the game and reserving a copy for when it is released. The $1 you pay for the pre-sell card is deducted from the total price of the game when you purchase the game. The $5 target gc is supposed to be an incentive though it is not much of one. If you consider the game to be $60, after redcard discount of 5%, the game is $57. After the target $5 gc for buying the pre-sell card, the game is still $52. Compare that to amazon (prime 20% off new releases) or best buy (gcu 20% off all games) pricing of $48 and you will see it is not a deal, at least if you have prime or gcu

This is no deal at all. The game if like last year will be heavily discounted right from the start if not soon after because it hits the same time as the Christmas shopping frenzy. If Target did the presell card with the SNES or the original NES, now THAT would be a deal.

These cards were a deal when they gave you 30% off another game.

I can't quite read what the pre-order benefits are. it looks like it says you can play the game a few days earlier than release. Furthermore this card is for the Deluxe edition which will cost 80 BUCKS! [target.com]
not a good enough discount/pre-order bonus for me but thanks for reminding me about cartwheel, I thought they phased out that app.
I appreciate your post.
