UPDATE: It appears that the Mattress + Adjustable Bed Base Bundle option also yields all-time CCC low prices for every corresponding size. It comes with a 10.5" Ventilated Cool Gel Memory Foam Mattress, although I cannot vouch for its quality since I previously purchased the bed base only.

UPDATE #2: Classic Brands also sells universal headboard brackets [amazon.com] that can attach headboards to the back of the adjustable bed base. These are sold separately.

Previous FP deal was at $469 (Queen). All of the following sizes are all-time lows or near all-time lows according to CCC:For the uninitiated: this is a phenomenal price and value for an adjustable bed base at any size; in my research and anecdotal experience, most B&M locations typically have lower-end queen-sized models with no features starting at $1000.

I purchased this exact mode in queen size on Black Friday 2016 when it dropped to $579, and then I got $40 back from Discover Price Protection when it dropped another $40 in Dec. 2016. Even at $539, I thought this was a remarkable deal, and this item has gradually dropped lower and lower this entire calendar year. I can't fathom it will get much better than this.

Features of the bed base itself: it has some great and useful preset incline/decline options for both sleeping and TV viewing. You can adjust the head and foot of the bed independent of the presets of you prefer different angles or no angles at all. (I experience pretty bad neck/back soreness issues when I end up sleeping on my side or stomach, so I enjoy using the "Zero G" preset in order to prevent myself from tossing and turning at night.)

The vibration/massage features have never done much for me, and frankly, I haven't touched the massage options in almost a year. Expectation for the effectiveness of this feature should be low and tempered going into this purchase, because there's only so much "massaging" a bed base can do through multiple layers of foam in a mattress.

The USB-A port on the right side of the bed, despite its odd placement in the middle of the frame, was a surprising but welcome bonus. There's a green LED light that confirms the port is receiving power.

The last thing to consider is that the current price points for Twin XL, Full, and Queen sizes puts this adjustable bed base firmly in High-End Box Spring territory; additionally, it is even less expensive than many of those top box spring brands.

I currently have this bed base combined with a queen-sized Leesa mattress, and I am experiencing the best sleep I've ever had. The bed base is as close to a steal as you can get while spending hundreds of dollars. Highly recommended.

I have this base in King and it stopped working around 4 months after purchasing. They have a good tech support and they sent me for free the spare parts to replace the controller module. I love my adjustable bed frame Smilie I bought it on amazon for like $680... it is WAY cheaper than mattressfirm or any other.... I would recommend you guys to buy 2 twin XLs to make a King and each side can go up or down as they please.

The box is HEAVY but its not hard to put toguether.

I think you are missing common sense. Obviously it won't work if you already have a king size mattress.... he's making the point that if you are purchasing this, a fair amount of people are likely going to be purchasing a mattress also and is giving good advice regarding that. If you already have a mattress then this OBVIOUSLY doesn't apply to you.

I didn't post it, but that is how my bed is set up. It is called a split king. Two twin mattresses move independently of each other. It causes a seam between you, but you can move your frame independently of your partner. We could put a topper on our matress and tie the motors together somehow to make it function like a normal king mattress. I was told when we bought our frame that they do not make a king size frame. I had to get (2) twin XL's to make the king because a king frame would be too heavy. You will break a sweat with trying to move the twin XL with (2) people, so I believed them.

Sorry can you please clarify. What do you mean buying 2 twin XLs to make a king? If you still have a king mattress then one side while going up will lift the other side partially - making that person end up rolling off since part of them will be lifted

wouldn't 2 twin xls only make sense if you in fact have two twin XLs mattresses to make a king?

Please clarify.

Also, can someone clarify for me:

I just bought a recent simmons beautyrest black. they show it in the store with an adjustable base, so i am pretty sure, despite being "Extra firm" it is "compatible" with using a adjustable bed.

however, the deal at the time was on the free box springs, so we have two of those brand new now.

right now, i also have a metal base.

If I were to buy this, I get rid of not only the box springs, but also the metal base, correct?

If so, does this unit attach to my headboard? It doesn't look like in the picture there is a way to do that. anyone know?

I am thinking of doing what you advised but if I buy a king bed frame later on, would it be able to enclose it? Two twins are 78" W vs 76" W on the King.

Purchasing this and any adjustable bed base will enable you to get rid of BOTH your box spring and metal bed frame.

Classic Brands also sells these headboard brackets [amazon.com] that attach to the bed base, which are sold separately.

Hopefully not putting words in peoples' mouth, but it might just be a "split king" bed (aka two twin XL beds). Just a semantic difference.

Thanks for this! Didn't know they were sold separately.

If you just buy one king then they cant operate independently. Your partner will have to sleep in the same position as you. If you by two Twin XL's and put them together then they pretty much equal a king size and can be operated independently.

also, can someone explain to me how a massager on a base will ever go through a 10-14" inch mattress such that one would feel anything other than vibrations?

Amazing deal I recently bought an adjustable metal bed frame. Was about half this price but would have picked this up in a heartbeat
