"Seems" like a great deal. Any experienced riders who can vouch for this?

I'd be worried going over a speed bump on this thing, let alone off roading

Also, does anyone have any experience with lightinthebox? They seem to get good reviews, but I had a question about the bike (the "red" option appears to be black in reality - want to confirm) but can't seem to find any way to contact them.

This posts no phone number or email that I can see:
https://www.lightinthebox.com/r/contact-us.html

The only posted email address is for retailers/wholesalers: am@dropinthebox.com

Also, I tried to find more info on the bike via Rockfeller's official website, but they appear not to have one.

Crappy frames have enough trouble not folding on trails. Don't want to know what a bike that's designed to fold would do haha

I bought a yi dashcam from LightInTheBox last year that USPS said never showed up in the country despite the site's tracking saying it had, so I contacted them through my account and they sent another. After another 2+ weeks a dashcam did show up, and then a couple weeks later a second did, so I have no idea what happened there or whose fault it was. I paid with PayPal so it wasn't that risky, just annoying.

I would absolutely avoid this bike. You're very likely to end up stuck in the woods hauling it back to your car after something snaps on it and you can't ride out.

My one experience w/this company was not awesome. Placed an order 2.5 months ago, just got the shipping confirmation last week. Most people would have probably cancelled (via Paypal), but as my order was of pretty insignificant value, I decided to go w/the flow.

Note: When I did get shipping confirmation, it was w/out tracking info and a "11-21 business day" window for arrival. For a <$10 item, no big deal...but for a $260 bike, I'd expect better.

Avid mountain biker here. My suggestion is to pass on this unless you plan to use it for just cruising around town. Pretty big risk and not much upside in buying this in general. For those interested in real folding mountain bikes, check out the Montague Paratrooper line. Real suspension and components although obv several times more costly than this.

Hah, pretty much a ripoff of montague/paratrooper/hummer folding bike designs. Looks like a decent price if you'd like a folding bike (dahon's are expensive, and those old Marlboro folding bikes are hard to find). All I can say is I'd be really REALLY concerned about taking those wheels onto any type of offroad trail.

Hah, I see someone else thought the same thing. They're usually pretty pricey--even used they'll go for $400+.
