Ok so seriously what do these do? Like what benefit will I get from shoving this phallic shaped thing up my nose and shooting salt?

1) They look like vibrators

2) Do these actually work as well as Afrin? I get everyone's on the whole 'natural' kick, but nothing works to clear up nasal decongestion in minutes like oxymetazoline or whatever.

Take a regular nasal mist sprayer like afrin, load it with saline solution (mixture of salt and water)...shake it up and use...why use it? It flushes your sinus's which in most cases will clear up closed off nostrils without medication..easy fix for allergies if you breathed in something that's irritating your sinuses. No need for "Himalayan pink salt" but if you are determined to use it you can get both a HUGE salt grinder of himalayan pink salt AND a nasal sprayer at the local dollar tree although you'll have to use up/throw away the afrin derivative that's in the bottle then reload it.

For DIY saline sprayers, I use the "Snoot" brand glass spray bottles that you can find on Amazon. 2-pack costs about $8. The mist is comparable to what you get with prescription sprays -- super-fine and uniform. I like them a lot better than the plastic squeeze bottles that most drug store saline comes in these days.

Edit: These [amazon.com]
