Even though it says 2+ years, I would say kids will outgrow it pretty quickly. Not for their interest in it, but it's size. The set is cheaply made, very small, just a few things in the physical kitchen provide actual interaction other than the bin, fruits/veggies, and the pots, pans, cups and plates. They will, very quickly, forget about the plastic kitchen and start using all the plastic parts in other areas of your house. I would say this is worth something in the $20-30 range. Source: had it in my house for almost 2 years, about to throw it away with the recyclables.

Got this for my 13 month son as part of his bday gifts, he has so much fun with it. We bought extra items like fruits and veggies. I def think it's useful because he sees me in the kitchen all the time and he copies me playing with this set. Also we teach him names of fruits and veggies from it. My son def loves the coffee pot he sees us with it every morning lol

If it is still in decent condition, Step2 kitchens sell quite well in facebook private groups or online classifieds...

My two girls (17mo, 3.5yo) love this thing. We got it last year and they still play with it all the time. At the time we got it our older daughter noticed right away it did not have a microwave or a drawer like the one we have at my parent's house (super old hand me down from their cousins) in California. I should have read more carefully and checked to see if there was a drawer and stuff for silverware. We already had pretend plastic food that they "cook" in it. They still use it and have fun having people "order" through the window but if I had to choose again I would buy one of these that had more storage compartments and drawers and stuff for them to store the food, etc. (note-I bought this for the same price last year, $55 from Kohl's)

Hope that helps someone trying to decide which kitchen to get. This one is super cute and I honestly got it cuz of the color (our kitchen has blue granite countertops) since it looks more similar to our actual kitchen than some of the others that are primarily brown and red.

Thanks! Didn't think of that. It is like new. The only thing is it will take me forever to gather all the pieces that actually make it worthwhile.

I like the bigger cabinets of this one (kid kraft link above) but if you want something cheaper but still fun (the burner that makes noises and lights up is a favorite for kids of all ages on the step2, that's why we went with step2:

https://m.kohls.com/product/prd-2...%20kitchen

https://m.kohls.com/product/prd-1...%20kitchen

Even these step2 kitchens have more space to store things than the one we got. I would probably go with the step2 contemporary if I were to do over (I believe ge second link) and use all the kohl's discounts still

I got this last year and my son loves it. He was 2.5 and I think it was the perfect age. He still plays with it. I bought a plastic 3 drawer organizer and put accessories in it because it doesn't have storage space. Definitely needs accessories like food, cart, register etc. Very nice and worth the money.
