Good deal. Only if it was a Visa gift card instead. Essentially, you're being forced to spend $500+ at NewEgg.

Frown I just bought a 575 for $450+200GC a couple weeks ago.

I think I'm gonna buy the 676 with the 200GC and sell my 575

I hate all these promotional GC deals that Dell and now Newegg, have started. Sucks you in and is so difficult to get out of.

Sears did the same thing with SYW points, but they also gave surprise points for free, so it was easy to get into the game.

If you hate it, why do you play the game? Just move on, no one's forcing you to get sucked in. Lack of willpower? LOL.

It is a great receiver and within this price range is only bested by perhaps Sony STR-DN1080. Will do 4K passthrough with HDR or Dolby Vision. Lots of streaming options. Has two HDMI outputs and can drive two subs.

I was actually looking to buy this for $450 shipped. Found one locally for $389+tax couple of hours ago and almost pulled the trigger.

I am hesitating because I like the Sony a bit more but it is currently $500 everywhere, not sure if it is that much better than this Onkyo considering the price difference.

Don't think I will need to buy anything else from Newegg in the near future so the value of the gift card is questionable to me personally.

Everytime I get Newegg promos I have never once used them in time. Not a big fan of making a deal out of credit or specific gift cards either.

Does the zone 2 to zone literally means that. I can play watch tv with surround sound in my living room and listen to my amplified speakers in another room.
