First post ever so forgive me if I leave something out or if the link doesn't work or something silly. I got an email from Ryobi trying to sell me on their new Score speaker set. It's basically a buy two get one free deal. Maybe it's not front page worthy but I was thinking of getting these a few months ago and decided to wait for a sale as they're relatively new. This is the first I've seen a deal on these. Hope it helps out someone else. It's an in store only thing. The instructions are at the bottom of the promotion and the person ringing me up at the counter didn't know how to redeem it insisting there must be a barcode to scan in. Read them the instructions and they'll figure it out eventually.

Online links for reference, deal is in store only:

Not to criticize but this a niche product and one has to have ryobi ecosystem to fully utilize. Bluetooth speakers are very cheap nowadays and with products like anker with 24 hour battery run that can be had for $29-45...this product really has no value to SDers. Nevertheless +1 for effort

It's an honest and founded critique. It probably has no use to most SDers. Certainly not as much use unless you're in the Ryobi ecosystem. The gimmick is how the Bluetooth speakers link together. My dad and I tried them out on our jobsite yesterday and they worked flawlessly. Consistent sound at each corner of the building. Could be awesome once walls are set up. You'd have to be a Ryobi user, a music lover, and perhaps in the trades to really make the most use of the deal. My dad fits the bill. Then again he's not the SDer in the family. So maybe very few will find it useful. Maybe someone will. If not...I wasted some time.
