Great deal on Ghost Recon Wildlands! Wish Rise of Tomb Raider was for Xbox One.

Thinking about buying GTA and FFXV. Not sure if I should wait for BF or not since I won't play them for a while.

I keeping meaning to get GCU but I'm always afraid they'll nerf it so I don't end up getting my money's worth.

How is Wildlands singleplayer? Am I missing out if I don't play multiplayer?
I have Xbox Live Gold, but I'd prefer the better framerate on PS4 without paying for PSN.

You get $22 savings back on your investment pre ordering and buying just one participating $10 reward game. Of which I think there are many in the upcoming holiday release season.

Does $10 reward go towards that game, or does it go on your account for next purchase?

Yeah... your fear of "nerfing" makes no sense; you simply didn't know what GCU entails. The membership has other perks too, like 20% off Amibo as well.

It's a $10 certificate that lasts for a year. You also get 2x points, which you can get $5 at 500 pts.

You're right... I'm not familiar with all the ins and outs of GCU. I think my fear of nerfing started with SD'ers getting irked over Black Friday deals no longer stacking. 20% off amibo is cool, I still collect them.

I understand what you mean about BF but BF has gotten crazy-competitive between retailers. Most now turn off price-matching and other things during that week. So, yeah, maybe it doesn't work then. But GCU is definitely worth it and the best deal going at the moment since you get 2 years for that price. One nice thing is that it works on Collector's Editions when BB has them -- Since those often sell for $100-200, that GCU discount can cover itself in 1 or 2 purchases. (a recent example was the rare Destiny 2 Collectors Edition with bag which was $249 retail -- came to $199 with GCU, if you could get one -- separately you can debate whether the bag was worth it, but the discount sure helped.) BTW Amazon's "Prime" game discount no longer works on Collector's Editions; they modified their program to remove a lot of stuff that was eligible.

Not sure anymore; I bought mine at launch so yes it had the artbook then. A major warning is don't trust the BB product descriptions. They often are "stale" and not updated after launch, or it takes them a while. For example I bought Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 earlier this year on a deal-of-the-day. The price was good at the time, but the description and photo still showed the launch edition which included Xenoverse 1. When I received the item it was the regular version, not the one in the photo. I checked at a local BB to see if I could swap it, but all they had was the regular one too. I ended up keeping it because the price was good, but the photo was definitely wrong at that point in time. I notice they've since "fixed" it so it no longer shows that bonus version which you can't get anymore. But anyway you can't always trust the BB descriptions and photos.

I'm considering GCU but still on the fence. $10 coupon for $59.99 retail game, minus 13% (figuring in tax) is still $52 game.

If I wait 1-2 weeks, I can get same game for $40 (or cheaper used) on eBay. If I stack $15 off on $75 spent promo, plus any eBay Bucks I've accumulated, it's way better deal.

What catches my attention with GCU is the 13% off (figuring in tax) on games that aren't new and discounted. 13% off amiibo is also good perk.

I still think GCU is great value for those who preorder lots of games at full retail price Smilie
