with black friday only a month away, is anyone going to drop nearly $100 on a no-name brand tablet without an effective warranty?

While some of these sound tempting, if Slickdeals is going to get paid to promote these ship from China deals, they should really work out return shipping if issues arise. I'm pretty much over buying real gear from China because you're pretty much screwed on return shipping if problems occur. Not mention they're usually as unhelpful as can be.

Don't get the allure anymore unless something is about half the price of what I would pay for it shipping within the US.

So it just seems like a one sided win for SD and screw the customer if they have problems. Figure out a better solution SD for these China deals.

I bought this tablet a while back. I use it as my daily driver at the gym. My biggest complaint is the shipping time!

i agree, not to mention the unexistent QA. one out of 3 products i get from china is defective. their policy is the company does not waste money on quality assurance. They ship it to the customer and the customer tests it. if it doesn't pass, the customer will notify them. best case scenario - the customer doesn't bother shipping back a defective product because of the shipping costs. It's a different culture. Don't trust it.
