This is a good price but not the lowest one can get. It is basically the same as getting it at Lowes with a coupon like $15 off $75 when buying two, but there is also an 11% rebate at Lowes in certain area and it is easy to get Lowes GC at 10% off.

I've put GE's in my entire house. About 20 switches. I've recently begun replacing them with HomeSeer HS-WD100+ switches for the enhanced functionality (double, triple and hold presses). I regret buying the GE's just for that reason. That said, they are rock solid and always show their status in SmartThings correctly.

There is no way I would have bought 22 at $30 each. Although, no color change. But, for less than $8, I did not mind the tradeoff.

Do these have instant status update? As far as I know Leviton (or whatever) patent expired and manufacturers can now incorporate instant status update into their wares. Does this one support instant status?

Those switches are hideous. No wonder they are cheap.

Yep same here, have most of my house wired up with those, they work great. And the color matches most of the house so not a big deal. Still need to get a couple of dimmers though and three way switches.

Man I want to jump on this wagon but my house is littered with 3 way switches and every bank is multiple toggles. I would have to change so many just to do the basics of my house... Way too much to justify my laziness.
