Wish this was the z-wave connect not the Sense model. Only Bluetooth. Still not a bad deal if that's what you're looking for

Connect if you have Z wave devices. But I don't see a deal on Connect only on Sense.

We are building a new house. Any tips on which "smart" option is the best one. Is zwave considered more standard? TIA.

Not a big deal, but I purchased 2 sets last time, neither of them includes the little screw (8-32 x .187 UP FHMS) to secure the back assembly the the back plate, kindda annoying.

I think the Sense has Apple Homekit support, other than that it should be the same as Connect.

The Z-wave in pretty universal, especially in sensor area (door window garage flood etc) and a lot of times much cheaper than stand-alone wifi devices (dimmer, switch etc). Downside is you need a hub, which is about $50~$100, some of the hubs can do local control (meaning no cloud involved, quicker response time)

What type of hub do you have? Are you happy with it? I see wink and Samsung smartthings a lot. Are they like some wireless routers and have to be replaced every few years. I am a total neophyte in this area. Your opinion would be appreciated. TIA

Anyone who has this can confirm if the lever on this is reversible? I need a right hand lever on the contemporary model.

I have Wink Hub 2 and I'm not particularly happy about it, as I need more customization. However, I would think it may fit you better as it is very easy to use and has a good app. The Smartthings has a larger community and more customization to it, however it may not be as friendly to newbies.

The other side, the Wink Hub looks much slicker.
