Edit: Target ones now expired, but Walmart still has the E4 for $39.88 if available in your area.

In-store only, Target offers the Verizon Moto E4 for $39.99:
https://www.target.com/p/verizon-...A-52597812 - Expired

and the Verizon Moto E4 Plus for $99.99:
https://www.target.com/p/verizon-...A-52597567 - Expired
(Discover Card holders get an additional 5% cash back at Target, if activated)

Walmart charges the same for the E4, if it's in stock:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Verizo.../953073971
(Chase Freedom credit card holders get an additional 5% cash back at Walmart, if activated)

Supplies vary depending on the store. Both phones can apparently be unlocked on ebay for $2.09, e.g. at:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Unlock-Co...2184892835

Edit: Target offers a 30 days return policy on the phone, even if used (but check with your local store).

Note that Discover Card holders get an additional 5% cash back bonus on Target purchases (needs to be activated, see https://www.discover.com/credit-c...endar.html)

Adding phone details from thread:

Does it work on pageplus? People said yes and others said it won't work because it's similar to post paid. I would like a definite yes.
I believe at one time Verizon prepaid phones can be used on MVNOs with an already activated sim card, but googling around you'll find articles like the one below that says Verizon is now blocking "unapproved" devices.

I could definitely see getting the E4 as a backup phone. I could not see getting the E4 Plus for $100 with only 720 resolultion, especially on a 5.5" screen.

Is there much difference between the E4 and E4 Plus to warrant the $60 price difference?

The main selling point for the Plus is the battery and bigger screen, which is why I picked it over the normal E4. There's some great videos on youtube by J Williams and Tony Pazo on both phones.

They don't price match to Target per https://www.bestbuy.com/site/cust...0300050002

We match local retail competitors (including their online prices) and these qualifying online retailers: Amazon.com, Bhphotovideo.com, Crutchfield.com, Dell.com, HP.com, Newegg.com, and TigerDirect.com.

I've been contemplating picking up a $40 e4 for a while now. Mainly because I already have a bunch of "backup" phones that don't really see any real use.

I guess I'll pick one up to tinker with, although without root that novelty will die out quickly. I think target's return policy on this is 90 days. Worst case scenario, one can return it if something more appealing comes along.
