i think this must be an error so hurry and book it. Google flights aren't showing prices for china eastern or air china so play with dates.

Use Expedia [expedia.com] or Priceline [priceline.com] for travel period January - March 2018. Use "flexible dates" on priceline and it will pull up other dates.

edit: nvmd about china eastern....looks like they fixed the price.

doesn't seem like an error. Just checked with google flights and actually saw $408 for both airlines

Good price, even if it's 1 stop, which I like to avoid. Still hesitant to try a Chinese airline but at this price, might give it a shot

2 of the worst airlines I would never touch...not to mention flying over 10 hours on them.

it is definitely much better than any US airlines.
I used Eastern airline and air China many times, service was so great, great people, great food , newer airplane.

Your fist link related cockroaches found on airplane , that can happen on any airplane when passages carries luggages (bring in) .
Second link refers the guy prefers Cathy pacific airline which still is a Chinese airline anyway ...
