Lowest price on Amazon through CCC. Great set with excellent performance and durability with hand washing (NEVER machine wash your non-stick)

Heavy-gauge aluminum construction ensures even heating and is hard-anodized for durability. It also makes it dishwasher-safe.

Interior includes three layers of nonstick coating - two layers provide durability and the third layer offers easy release performance.

The long, brushed stainless steel handles are designed to stay cool on the stovetop. Pans and covers are also oven safe, making it ideal for finishing a gourmet dish.

Flat, wide bottoms heat evenly and provide plenty of room for cooking. The sloped sides are designed for easy tossing and rolling.

The nonstick fry pan surface means you can cook healthier using less fat, with effortless cleanup. Comes with Calphalon full Lifetime warranty.

I've had this set for a few years and have been very pleased. They have some heft which helps with heat distribution. We don't abuse them but they do get put into the sink with other dishes, stashed away in the cabinet either nested together or with other pans/lids, and washed fairly frequently because of use. Because of all that they are showing signs of wear. I'll gladly spend $40 every few years. We use SS for everything else but for eggs, cheese, fish, and other delicate items, non-stick is the way to go.

$39.99 after ubiquitous 20% off coupon at Bed Bath & Beyond [bedbathandbeyond.com]. (Page is coming up with a 404 error, but Google says the price is $49.99 in-store and on-line.)

Just get the slip stone stoneware, will last a lifetime. Calphalon makes great stuff but not all their ranges are made equal. I like the stoneware since it is virtually indestructible and second even if they scrape or chip you are eating clay with your food which is not going to cause cancer. Besides I like the ones with a lid so that your kitchen doesn't smell and food gets cooked quicker.

I have a Calphalon 12" non stick, one of their cheaper ($60) pans.. It's awful. Lost its Nonstick after about a year, and it's now warped. Never dishwasher, never used metal utensils, never put it under water while hot.

Maybe I got a lemon, maybe their budget pans are junk?
