Not seeing direct flights for that price. Not even seeing itineraries with layovers for under $700.

Looks like Qantas has been quite aggressive lately. There was a deal earlier DFW-SYD $831 RT on its A380

Excellent price, would totally go again if I didn't have to buy a return flight from mid west. Domestic US flights are ridiculous.
Great price on one of the worlds best airlines, for coach anyway. Can't compete with Asian and GCC carriers for business/first but better for coach imo.

Is this for cargo class with the goats, pigs and chickens, or strapped under the wing?
Nonsense. I haven't flown with chickens in the cabin since the days of Soviet Aeroflot. The real Aeroflot, not that sad imitation they have today.

Thanks! Back in Sept you also posted those amazing ~$500+ air fares to Melbourne with Air New Zealand (from LAX).

Now I wonder, if Air New Zealand will bring back those fares for a price war! Big Grin
