The timax 1/2" driver impacts are absolute beasts. Replacement parts readily available as well. Highly recommend especially at this price

I have had the electric impact for over a year maybe 2. There has been nothing so far that it hasn't been able to do. Only issue is sometimes it can be a little too big to fit in tight spaces that an air impact could.

Swivels and wobbles! Same reason I grabbed a stubby 1/2" air impact.

Need this impacting ratchet as the HF one works ok but weak torque

for impact wrench air>electric. For ratchet electric>air imho.

I have used an electric impact for the last ~8 years. They are so convenient in the ability to go from spot to spot quickly and like I said my IR 7150 hasn't failed to pull anything off yet.

I used to have an old snap on electric impact that still required bringing out the air impact from time to time. The advancements have been made now so I have to disagree with you, depending on the scale of the job.

I have a great electric impact, my issue is it is too heavy and big to be useful on almost everything I need to get at but it does have some power. My issue is not that electric isn't as powerful (which it isn't). You yourself say they can be too big, that is my issue with them I can't get to the bolts I need. I don't actually think we are disagreeing tbh.

For ratchets though the electric is excellent, you don't need a ton of power, and they are fairly light and about the same size as air ratchets.
