It only took me 10 years and buying this game twice, but finally beat it. Very well done remaster. Made it much easier to play by today's standards, I highly recommend it.

I'm probably gonna get this to backlog it. I'm halfway through X/X-2 remastered and I know I gotta have this in my completed (again) list.

*EDIT* Steelbook not normal. Not a bad price if the steelbook really matters to you. Wish they had better extras and an actual music cd though.

Target had the same DPCI for the steel book and regular version. Call and check so you don't waste a trip if you want the steel book

This.

I went to the store and the guy said the regular packaging one had the same DPCI number and that's all they had.

This was my first completed RPG in the final fantasy series. After 40 hours of gameplay, I reached Sin, only to spend the next 80 hours finishing every side quest to get absolutely everyone's master sword and every summon, and mostly playing blitzball. You needed to become #1 to get wakkas weapon and I have 123 lightning dodges (you need 100 for lulu's but I just kept going and left the area and saved and it'll go up the next time I open my ps2 save state)

FF1 was my first. Oh the good old days!

Damn internal battery in the cartridge was flaky on my copy. I would get 3/4 through the game and it would wipe my save. I'd have to start from scratch again.

I still have the original FF12 steelbook. I want this, but I'm holding out for a PC port.
