How does this compare to the MSI X370 GAMING PLUS AM4 Mobo that was on sale from newegg for 99.99(89.99 after MIR) last week?

This Asrock has Intel LAN opposed to the Realtek on the MSI. Intel LAN is generally the better choice. Also the asrock has built in WiFi if that is your thing. Same audio chipset on both. Someone else can chime in which board has better RAM support, overclocking ability, BIOS, etc.

Just finish a built with this board. Ram hitz 3200 easy with default xmp2.0 profile. However has problem with LLC and cpu vcore voltage causing system crashing and blue screen. Take a lot of effort but im getting nowhere. Avoid this if you plan to OC cpu. Non-oc user will be happy with it but its just not me.

No offense intended but why would you buy an X series with no intention to OC? Isnt that the point of an X board? Wouldnt that make this board rubbish?

You can also OC on a B350...

That is not the point of an X board.
