Monoprice [monoprice.com] is selling a full-color z-wave plus bulb for $40 plus shipping. Not a bad deal if you don't need a Philips Hue.

No reviews, so it's probably a new product.

Literally costs $10 more for an individual Hue bulb and if you get the starter packs and sell the duplicate hub for $40 they can come out to about the same price as this. Considering how much better the Hue ecosystem is, these aren't really a deal. If these were $25, then they'd actually be a considerable replacement for Hue, even though you'll still need a zwave hub.

looks like these bulbs are looooow brightness. 600 lumens, hue gen 3 are 800 lumes and Lifx bulbs are up to 1100 lumes. I really like the z wave connection but low brightness for $40 is a hard pass

Sylvania smart+ is around $29, if you're looking for a cheaper zigbee bulb.

If they were 800 lumens I'd get them just because zwave is so well supported everywhere thanks to ozw on Linux being pretty solid now.

To dim for the price.
