looking at my BBY order history, I ordered this phone for store pick-up on 5/20/2017. The phone was still the regular $69 price, but it came with a free bundled $45 AT&T Prepaid refill card. (making the phone essentially $25)

I still have the phone, but it's taped to the top of my front window and used as a motion detection surveillance camera.(with free "WardenCam" app, which instantly notifies me via email when motion is detected) Works great... but mostly just captures videos of my mailman, UPS driver and neighborhood cats walking towards my front porch. It can be used as an extra home phone for this price. I don't like prepaid btw, it means I have to wait for long time.

Bought this phone last year between BF and Xmas for same price. Used it for a teen's phone, and it does just fine, getting it unlocked from the AT&T website was easy. But whether or not you appreciate this old technology (at a reasonable price) this was the only phone I could find at this price point that has NFC. This allowed us to take advantage of many Google Pay promotions.

Just a comment on my experience.

Unlocking this phone through the AT&T website may not be possible anymore without a 6-month period of paid usage. Have anybody tried the unlocking services in eBay and succeeded at a reasonable price to avoid the 6-month requirement?

Pro: phone is light and slim, decent quality, NFC, cheap

Con: slow, battery life isn't great.

Unlocked via Ebay, after APN settings for TMobile and my dad is currently using it because his G6 crapped out

How much did you pay for the unlock from Ebay may I ask?

I need something like this for a trip to Europe, but it would need to be unlocked to take Euro Sim
Did you have any hassle unlocking it, I read this when I looked up unlock codes
"Important: There are a lot of the new LG Phoenix 3 M150 devices from AT&T that are currently sold with firmware issue and they can not be unlocked!!! Their lock counter is frozen and rejects every unlock try as "SIM Network unlock request unsuccessful_001" even if code is correct!
Please, if you have new LG Phoenix 3 M150 from AT&T, check if the lock counter is active by dialing a random code. If devices changes the number of tries left in the lock counter(2/10) it can be unlocked. If tries stay always 1/10 than device can not be unlocked."

The phoenix 3 and lg risio 2 are the same phones. FYI the external speaker on this is impressively loud for a disposable phone.
