Philips 32" 2560x1440 IPS Monitor @ Microcenter $299.99

Microcenter is currently having this monitor on sale at $299.99

http://www.microcenter.com/produc...ps_monitor

The specs:

2560x1440 @ 75 Hz
Contrast 1200:1
DisplayPort, HDMI, and VGA
Wall-Mount Capability
AMD Freesync
VESA 100 x 100mm

The model is not actually on display at the store so you'll have to ask an employee for the monitor.

The only place to buy this monitor is on Amazon and through Microcenter from what I've seen. There is only one review I could find on the internet for this monitor which can be found googling "Philips Momentum 326M review".

This monitor rivals the HP Omen 32" which has gotten many great reviews, and the Philip's is now the same price as the Omen was for last year's Black Friday at Costco. This monitor however is different because it is an IPS panel instead of VA. Coming from a 34UM68 and 34UM88 monitors, I can say that this monitor is gorgeous. The monitor comes with the stand preinstalled, but can be removed to be VESA mounted.

If anyone has any questions regarding the monitor, I'd be more than happy to answer!

Damn it's an IPS too. I would buy this in a heartbeat if I didn't already have my AMVA panel 32 inch Philips.

This monitor you posted also has Ambilight built into it. Pretty cool!

It's cool and all that it's IPS blah blah, but how good is this at other things like sRGB, adobeRGB, brighness/contrast etc.

I tested the monitor briefly on CS:GO and Battlefield 1 and I didn't really experience any issues with input lag or ghosting. YMMV of course.

Image quality is on par with the LG panels I listed to my naked eye. Really good bang for the buck in my opinion. I looked at the HP Omen while at the store, and while it is a good looking monitor, I would place the Philips ahead of it.

I have mine on an arm, and I sit about a foot away. Probably not the best for your eyes, but I have no issues watching shows or gaming at this range. I'm a firm believer of bigger is better Smilie

Here's a link to a review, seems very positive. https://www.windowscentral.com/ph...entum-326m

had my mind set on a 27 but now thinking a 32, I do have the desk space.

The only thing that wrong with the review, is that it does not mention that the monitor supports 75hz. I am unsure if you need an Nvidia GPU to use 75hz, but for sure if you have AMD the monitor supports 75hz on HDMI and Displayport.
