Mine was just for buying (on two accounts). I wonder if they only give the selling offer to people who haven't sold something within the last year or something.

Lol who is down voting this? So dumb. Probably somebody who doesn't realize that you have to enable email promotions to get this deal.

I have 8% selling also, but my question is do I have to list item after I activate? I already have items listed for sale, do those count or do I have to end and relist? Anyone know? Thanks.

I'm in the same boat. No selling. I've only sold 2 items in the last 4 months or so.

I didn't get the selling promotion this time but in the past, it's only for items listed after activating the offer. To be safe, I'd recommend ending and relisting any items you already have for sale.

I have three selling accounts.

Two always get the same offer and the third gets a different offer. The third is the one that always gets the higher free listing promos (500 usually) and the ebay bucks on selling.

The other two always get the same offer but usually not as good as the first account.

All three sell almost always and use every free listing promo (including the 50 free per month).

I have never had nor ever will have a store on ebay. Why pay for a store when I get free listing promos soon as the last promo items expire?

Got the both sell and buy promo on that first account and buy only on the other two.

So............................... doesn't make sense I got it because I haven't been selling. I have.

And it's not random either. The two accounts always get the same promo and the third a better one.

Saved some free listings to sell higher cost items or items I know I can sell 30 of by the end of the promo.

Nice, thanks for the heads up OP.

Last time, I made $60 for selling stuff and I was shocked because I was only expecting like $25 or so based on how it said it had to listed during a specific period and sold before a specific date but seems like they only cared about when it was sold so I hope it's the same case this time.
