EVA Airways, a Skytrax certified 5/5 Stars Worlds Best Airline, have limited round trip airfares travelling from Chicago (ORD) to Macau (MFM). This makes one stop in Taipei.

There aren't too many dates so you may use EVA Airway's [evaair.com] "flexible date" option to search or by trial and error for a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday departure (November thru January except hoidays) on Expedia [expedia.com].

I was able to find two different itineraries for $545 using both EVA Airways and Expedia sites

I saw a lot of $469 fares on United from NYC to SIN. Dates vary from Nov 2017 to March 2018. I'm just too lazy to post a new thread about it.
