Dang...was going to get excited but that 960m has half the power of a 1050 and even less when compared for the 1050 ti. Gosh. If you are looking to game, no. lol. At this point you might as well just wait for a good deal on a 1060 system.

Saw it for $700 during their sale last night with the external DVD drive included. Pretty much everything looks good from what the reviewers are saying, but the 960m could be a deal-breaker if you take AAA gaming seriously.

Yaa the graphics is a concern. And its possible to get the same specs with DVD drive at same price if its okay to downgrade to 128 gb ssd from 256.

If you add the external DVD drive it drops to $780... still $80 more than what it was last night, and only $120 less than what it cost late last year. Probably better off looking at current gen stuff at this price point.

Pardon me but I don't know much about computers (helping an elderly friend get this for a grandkid thats overseas) Earlier this week, I ordered Lenovo Legion Y520 15.6" Gaming Laptop, Windows 10, Intel Core i7-7700HQ Quad Core Processor, 8GB RAM, 1 TB Hard Drive, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 2GB Graphics for $800. Is this a better deal in terms of pricing and specs? Y520 vs Y700. Thanks!!
