Decent price for RX Vega 64. Newegg through eBay.
8% eBay Bucks for who received the promotional email, another $43 saving.
Make it match the Launch MSRP... Well, sounds like a deal, right?

Do not buy Vega right now. If rumors of the 1070ti become a reality, it will be released later this month and these prices will be depressed even further. Additionally, vega AIB partner cards with custom coolers are slated to be released later this month or early next month. Just google the Vega Strix. Hold out until the initial rush associated with those cards is over and buy between Black Friday/Cyber Monday and Christmas, IMO.

The 64 and 56 cards have been trickling down for about 2 to 3 weeks hopefully drop below msrp new aftermarket coolers should be out late this month or early next. Seems like there is now no shortage you should see cards normalize. Ebay through Newegg had them at 557 a week ago so keep dropping .......

Vega 64 - $550+, GTX 1080 - $470+
No way in earth vega64 should cost more than GTX 1080. 1080 beats it in most games. End of discussion. The Vega64 should be priced $420 or $400. Even 1070 beats it in some games.

1070 doesn't touch the 64 and barely hangs with the 56. Think your confused. Plus 56 has a ton of head room can be oc to stock 64/ 1080 levels. And at 400 and 500 price point they are on par with green team prices.

$500 is a pretty outstanding price for the card. 1080-like performance, an absolute monster at raw compute, more functional(and improving) SR-IOV drivers than nV, and performs better with an undervolt.
The blower-style cooler is actually nearly silent in day-day operation; I have Wattman tweaked to ramp up the blower to 4.9kRPM @ 60c, and sound is pretty tolerable to the naked ear(in a Fractal R5).
If you have a good pair of semi-sealed headphones, then it likely wont be a bother with the fan running full tilt.

The real price-performance king would go to the V56, if they eventually normalize to MSRP. Gaming and hashing performance is near identical to the V64, just by flashing to a 64 BIOS. If you wanted to know why nVidia is releasing a 1070Ti, the V56 is why Wink

yes. you are right, but 1080 is selling bellow $500 currently. Why would vega 64 beat it in price?
