FYI - you have some time to do more research on this type of cameras.

I have read that many members of ipcamtalk prefer to spend more money on a better brand / quality of camera.

Please let me know what cell phone has 360˚pan and 90˚ tilt, Infrared LED lights that enable it to see 190 feet in the dark, and is, IP66 certified waterproof. Oh and it has to be less than $196. Even the $1000 iPhone X doesn't have those features.

Yeah, I read that many members of the Rolls Royce Forums prefer to spend $250,000 on a car so nobody should post deals for anything cheaper because everyone only buys the most expensive item, right?

There are all sorts of price ranges on all sorts of products to appeal to all sorts of people with all sorts of financial means.
If someone wants to spend more on a camera that's fine. If someone wants to spend less that is fine too.

I never said it was a bar gold. Just pointed out your troll post was ridiculous and based on foolishness rather than facts.

Hi Whatatay,

Rolls Royce,.... no more like

Toyota forum members not liking a Yugo

So, let's be clear here, numerous members on this forum HAVE NO IDEA about security cameras, thus it behooves us to help them understand that YES they do have choices, and if they want a Yugo - that's fine, however we should not be telling they they are getting a Toyota when showing them a Yugo.

For people looking for a larger PTZ outdoor rated camera I suggest the following:

Dahua SD49225T-HN 2MP 25x Starlight IR PTZ Network Camera ,free DHL shipping
can be found for $350 including shipping from China on Aliexpress

As these sort of cameras need power anyways, recommend pulling a PoE+ line to them.

[ This is the "toyota" vs the "yugo" ]

This camera is obviously not for every application... but $200 for a PTZ 5MP outdoor camera is a pretty dang good price.

This is not just a "fancy foscam". Reolinks, in my experience, are very well built and deliver an excellent picture. Even if was just a "fancy foscam" this would still be a hell of a deal.
Here's a foscam 1080P outdoor camera (2MP, not 5MP and only 802.11n wireless) and it is $370.

Don't TD a deal just because you don't understand the value.

Almost double the price. Doesn't sound like a deal to me. Good luck shipping it back to China if you have any problems,

Exactly. These trolls come from the IP Camera forum where the owner of the forum uses filthy language to tell people to F off or F you if they like other cameras than what he likes.
