I just found this charging dock is versatile, inexpensive and does the job, and above all, it is a better deal compared to another Zerolemon charging dock posted inhere

This charging dock has 2 USB A ports+2 USB C ports compatible with all USB-A and USB-C devices. One of the USB C port is removable for easy carry out. I think it's a really solid deal at $9.80.

It also comes with a 24 months warranty, backed by ZeroLemon.

Above has 65W output but the price is also doubled.

45W output is enough for Macbook 2016 and onward, as well as cellphones.

Be aware that the USB-C ports on this don't support the Power Delivery standard. They seem to be the older 5V x 3A type ports

Are you sure? The item says "Power Delivery" right in the title.

The specifications say "TYPE-C/USB C Output: 2*5V/3A(Max)". That implies nothing higher than 5V. They shouldn't use the word "power delivery".....

When it comes to S8 and S8+ this will suffice. Energy draw is capped by the phones hardware at 2.2A for 5V. USB PD or not, the S8 and S8+ will charge at a similar time rate of about 1 hour and 40 mins (+/- a few minutes)

Good catch, you're right. If it's not really USB-PD compliant, I will be sending it back.

Yup. I'm just setting expectations straight, so people are aware this (probably) doesn't support USB-C PD if that's what they're looking for.

Question: How to connect my phone's female usb-c to its female usb-c?
Have to buy a cable with both ends to be male usb-c then?

The reviews for this specific product (listed as "Color: White 2" on the drop down for some reason) are mostly positive... all the low reviews are that it does not charge laptops, which you should never expect with a 5v 3A USB-c... it is falsely claiming power delivery in the title, but other than that it looks pretty neat. I am going to get one.

Also I believe the 45w rating is for all ports combined, no single port can deliver 45w, so it is insufficient to charge a laptop.
