I am not an expert on why there is a difference, but the one pictured on Amazon appears to be made for the American market with the day of the week spelled in English.

The one at Ashford has the day of the week spelled in a foreign language.

If this small difference on a watch face is okay for the buyer, this looks like a good everyday automatic watch at a good price.

Almost all Seiko watches have a dual language function for the day of the week. My Seiko from 1979 has both English and French. Ashford is just showing it in the opposite language.

American market Seikos have dual language on the day window with English and Spanish. JUE is for Jueves, Thursday in Spanish.

When setting the watch, you can flip to either language very easily. Once set on that language, it will stay that way until you re-set the date.

Solid price for a 4R36. Can't go wrong with Seiko movements.

Man, this looks good for dressing. Tempting, but I already have a Movado 800 series. Can't go wrong with this watch for only $140 bucks. That's less than the cost of a cognac XO bottle Smilie

How do you change time for time zone change or day light savings?"

I recently bought the Seiko auto deal from a couple weeks ago. A little disappointed in the accuracy of the movement. I'm usually off by 3-5min at the end of the day (goes fast) and I never take it off except to shower. Watch is absolutely beautiful but really looking forward to my rado auto to come back from the shop. I would lose 3min a month there.
