I go through Steam's new releases every day so nothing passes me by. It's sometimes tedious.

Lords of Xulima, btw, is a really solid game. I put 60 or so hours into it. One warning - It starts off really difficult, and this cannot be avoided unless you play on casual mode, which ruins the game by being excessively easy. Out of recent releases, this game closest resembles Might & Magic X. The perspective is different, but both games have limited enemies (there is no respawn), great benefits for exploring everywhere, and numerous puzzles/riddles.

Edit: The deluxe edition also gives you the Talisman of Golot, which makes the game slightly easier in the long run. The Talisman gains energy as you explore and kill things. The energy can be exchanged for extra food, gold, exp, stat/skill points.

This particular Amazon purchase doesn't give you a Steam key, does it?

Strange. I was born in 1990... Figured it was part of that era, guess not. For it being released in 2014, I'm not sure how I haven't heard of it..

I've only bought games from Amazon a few times; every time it wasn't a steam code.

In 2017, Steam is set to release 5,000 games. Keeping of track of that many games, it's pretty easy for one to sneak passed your radar =)

Wish this game was available on Android (is it?) seems a decent way to kill time at work, but not quite good enough to compete with precious @home computer time

If it had a different combat system I'd be all over this like Venezuelans on a Snickers wrapper. I love everything except that.

Unless you're a professional reviewer, that practice of going through all of steams new releases every day sounds immensely time consuming and tedious in the long run. That can't be healthy. But even if you do all that, it seems very plausible that you could forget one game in thousands even if you "saw" it one morning.
