Yes. This will work well for modem and router. I think mine lasted about 3 hours in an outage. Like the poster above mentioned, 2 prong outlets, no ground, so you'll need an adapter for grounded plugs.

I swear I saw $19.99 when I visited the site, but it took me a while to notice it isn't Shoprunner elgibe, and guess what... Was charged $20.99. 👍

Using an identical unit now, going on a year or so. Zero issues. It clicks quietly when (apparently) there is an interruption of or abnormality with the electric source it's connected to.

What's the use case: router and such are not near another UPS and you need those to stay on to run at least the LAN for cameras, phone, or similar?

Yes. It keeps very low power devices running for a couple hours.
