It's a shame this has to be said, but please be respectful of your fellow SD'ers who served and sacrificed as past and present members of the armed forces, and try to resist your urge to troll. Yes, it's frustrating when you don't get the same benefits for free that others worked for and earned, we understand that....and we also understand that not everyone could serve...but please show respect and don't down-vote JUST because you do not qualify and JUST out of spite. Judge the deal on it's merit and for it's target audience, don't be a troll.

Again favoring the army over the regular old joe. When we are the ones breaking our back paying for the army. And before anyone blames me, my grandfather was a soldier in the german army in world war 2. And my dad fought the commies in the Cold War, he was a Inteligence officer in west Germany. So my family has done its due. I should at least be able to get this deal since my father and grandfather are not alive to take advantage of this after their struggles to create the known world.
What's the big deal about this deal favoring soldiers? It's the same as Best Buy offering student discounts and coupons. Plus if your dad served then you can easily partake in this deal by signing up with your dads veteran status.

I have never owned a sound bar before so this may be stupid questions. How does the sound bar connect to the TV? Through what output? Also, anyone know if this has mounting holes on the back to mount to a wall?

Wow, that's an incredible deal. I've been thinking about a soundbar for years for the bedroom TV, and this is probably the best deal that I've seen including BF and Christmas promotions. I think I may just have to pull the trigger based on that. I can explain to the wife later.

As for the "I should get the benefit when I haven't served," it's called earning the benefit YOURSELF, not leaching off someone else's sacrifice(s). If you want to shop at AAFES, you should have signed on the dotted line. If not, tough. I have sacrificed enough PERSONALLY through literally years away from home and family, and you're going to tell me that you should receive the same benefits for doing jack sh!t? I could write more of my opinion of that notion, but the "bad word censor" would edit most of it out.

Besides, AAFES is rarely a worthwhile benefit, honestly.
