Micro Center is offering $50 off CPU & Motherboard combos. Normally this is only a $30 discount. This works for both AMD and Intel (only 7th gen).

Below are the links to their bundles. But the bundle discount works for CPU's and Motherboards that aren't shown on the link. You will just have to add each component to your cart separately and it should discount automatically.

Examples
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 ($199.99) + GA-A320M-HD2 AM4 mATX ($9.99) - $10 MIR = $200 AR
AMD Ryzen 3 1200 ($99.99) +ASRock AB350 Pro4 AM4 ATX ($39.99) - $20 MIR =$120 AR (credit to SDRebel)

How does it hurt anyone to post a deal, regardless if its Online or In-store only? If it doesn't work out for you, move along. Online deals from Newegg will come around.

It's still a deal that those near Microcenter can get. Should be posted

Dang this might have swayed me from buying the i5 8400 2 weeks ago and going with a 7th gen. Regardless, processor is awesome so far so I'm not knocking it. Price is not great though at $250 but you can use your credit card's Price Protection depending on the company (I have a case open now that will hopefully be honored).

Great deals to be had. For those in the market and have a MC nearby... jump on it.

Just received MC email regarding this deal, don't have time to check it out yet, but it's great to see they get back to $50 instead of $30.

Don't know much about AMDs processors, was in the middle of an i7 build but wouldn't mind a second PC.

Is the only difference b/w the 1600x and 1600 is that the x is unlocked for overclocking?

How does the 1600 and 1300 compare to the i5 and i3?

Seems like a great deal for a quick build.

I see this deal is for "in store" only. Is this typical for Micro Center or do they sometimes have cpu/mobo combo deals that allow shipping? I don't live near a store... :-(

Nah this is typically instore only, sorry Frown. I don't think I've even seen one that included shipment.

Only downside is it's in store only and they're sold out of the ASUS ROG STRIX X370-F Gaming Motherboard at my local store.

Previously it was $30 off with the purchase of a motherboard and compatible cpu. Hard to beat this deal. I could possibly start my build with a $100 mobo for only $50.
