I thought these cables were made of stranded wires and any overload condition would open these wires first before damaging the phone. I searched amazonbasics using the link you provided and even amazonbasics charging cables are not listed even though they say its certified. Same is true for Dynex cables sold by Bestbuy. I have both Amazon and Dynex cables and have not had any issues with them.

For this price, I would buy these cables if I needed them.

I don't see that anywhere which leads me to believe they're not.

If it were, they would mention it. Doesn't mean it won't work. I ordered one since I needed more Lightning cables.

If you really need MFi for cheap, wait for the Dynex Bestbuy ones to go on clearance for $1.50. Those have good connector but the cable itself is stiff.

Another non-MFi cable I have has been working fine for the past 2-3 years. The Lightning connector part however is a little bit less smooth shaped so I have to be more careful when plugging it in.

PSA: Monorpice has a lifetime warranty on their cables. Also a stupidly easy RMA process (just log into your account and click a few buttons). They're also built well, so the RMA has been optional for me.

I bought 3 6' cables about 3 years ago, one just stopped working other lightning plug broke off, finally attempted a rma about 2 weeks ago and never heard back from them...

You'll get credit on your account once the RMA is processed. Log in and click the RMA section on the left to see the status. Once you have the credit, you'll use that to order replacements.

I've been doing it for years without a hitch. Makes me more comfortable getting the 6' cables that seem to fail a bit more often.

I like the idea of the lighted end in the car. I bought this the last time it was on sale, very slow to charge and failed to connect to CarPlay >50% of the time. Sent it back...
