Not so much a dock as a port expander, correct?

I use this with my surface book. Only complaint is the stupid scaling issue windows has when switching between the dock and laptop. Oh and it won't run dual 4K monitors at 60hz.

The one thing this has that makes it better than most port expanders is that you can hook up two additional screens to it. I was looking for a way to hook up two additional screens to my surface pro3, and to do that via the 1 Minidisplayport on the Sp3, you'd need to get a MST hub, which typically run $60-100. I also want one, but it still feels too expensive.

Still so freaking expensive! Sometimes I quest why doesn't Microsoft sell these at least at a discount to get a surge of goodwill.
