the define nano s is a great case. my son and i built his first pc using this case. i did a video on it if anyone is interest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8nbW1DPEh0

it's slightly larger than the average mini-itx case but i can put more stuff in it if i wanted to.

FD Node 304 is also marked down from $90 to $70. I've been waiting for a 304 deal for my next Plex Server build since it supports 6 hdd.

Picked up the Nano S. I've always wanted to make a build using a Fractal case. Thanks for the heads up.

Nice video. Was thinking of a similar build but with a Z270 board and the g4620 as a temporary CPU for now. I am hoping Microcenter gets a new batch of i3 8100s soon though. That $50 off combo is just too good.

I have the nano and it is a great case. I usually switch out my cases every year but I couldn't find anything that I would switch it with.

only thing I could wish to make it better is to be able to have the GPU displayed vertically. other than that, it's great size with great ventilation.

thanks. ya it's normally only $30. but if you use z270, you won't be able to use any 8th gen core cpu.

Which do you suppose is quieter? The nano S or the node 304?

Also, what do you do with the old cases once you switch?

Love this case! Easy to build, great quality. I only do not like top vent covers - ugly and no filter option.

I never had experience with the 304 but my nano is pretty quiet as I purchased "be quiet" fans. I invested in expensive fans and CPU fan in order to avoid a loud rig. Loudest thing in my PC is the hard drive.
As for my old cases, I sold them. I've been tempted with recent cases that came out but they either didn't have good ventilation, too big, no vertical GPU option or just too expensive. The nano hit a lot of check marks for me.

Thanks! I have the Corsair 250D. It's a fine case but I find the noise from the front fan annoying.
