Class 4? What is this 1999? What are we using these for? Digital Picture Frames?

Agreed. Good deal is if you just need an SD card for storage (music, data transfer, etc) but nothing that requires any type of speed.

I don't think so, why not use for pictures or music storage? Though smartphones can do it too

Storing pictures and music is fine. I wouldn't use a class 4 to take pictures on. I shoot raw on a 6D, a class 4 can't keep up when using burst mode.

Is this ok for raspberry pi? Need a card for pihole and a unifi controller. Don't really want to spend 8 hours installing it, but I also don't plan on doing it more than once... so mostly concerned about performance after wards.

Depends on which Pi you own.

if we can buy this directly from ebay then why we have to go on bestbuy?
You don't buy this (or anything) directly from eBay.

I ordered two for my pis, because I found reviews in the Best Buy site saying they worked fine with them. I totally missed the point you were trying to make, and thought you were implying the newer pis needed a higher class card, when in reality these won't even fit in my pi3s. Embarrassment
