Coast LED Headlamps 2 Pack - Costco - 14.97 B&M $14.97

Costco has the Coast LED headlamp two packs marked down another $5 as of yesterday. The new model with a green light (what the hell is that for?) is right next to them for $29.99. The Columbus Ohio Easton Location had about half a skid left.
I use these almost daily when running cable, or getting into attics or crawl spaces. Best tool on my truck. Also great for playing disc golf at night or hiking.

I prefer this Coast headlamp over all my Black Diamonds and Princetons. Very easy to use, comfortable, easy battery changes, great neutral color, red leds have some good throw and the best focusing system I've ever used. I also purchased the beefier versions of this headlamp which are the FL75 and FL-85. Never liked focusing lights but these go from a smooth spot beam to a perfect flood with a simple twist. 15 bucks for two is an incredible deal!!!!!

Yup, good deal. I have one I bought for this price for a single unit years ago and it is solid. I remember one of the outdoor mags gave it a best value too. I don't think they are waterproof but I have had mine get pretty wet from dew and it is fine

The newer model has a green light in addition, that's why this is being discontinued.

I wonder if these would hit 9.97.

what's the purpose of green light?

red doesn't interfere with night vision...not sure what purpose green has.

To avoid stimulation of plant growth, perhaps.

Some say the green provides more detail; but the idea is generally the same...preserving night vision.

Dang...I like Coast products; but I have at least a half-dozen headlamps and flashlights that are still in the boxes!

Still might take a look if I drop by Costco in the next couple of daysLMAO

Lowes had a rubberized, waterproof Coast flashlight marked down from $29.99 to $9.xx; but I kept walkin'. Dang

Some maps are hard to read using a red light. Green simply provides an alternative

some maps are marked in red, so the green light will still show those marks and not wash them out in red light.
