If one were looking to make the jump to the Ubiquiti ecosystem, does this necessarily tie in better than a competitors PoE switch?

How does this compare to a run-of-the-mill Netgear/Linksys 16-port PoE switch?

If you have all UniFi switches - APs - gateway routers - then you get one pane of glass to manage them all. It's a massive advantage.

Sorry, They raised the price of the tacos. Now you will only get about 448. (YMMV, as it appears that different stores have different prices).

Why are all these Ubiquiti products suddenly on sale? Are they going out of business or upgrading their wares?

Newegg is not listed as an authorized reseller and the warranty was updated to say it only covers authorized resellers. Maybe Newegg is trying to clear stock.
