If you have not seen the following i would recommend:

Videodrome - David Cronenberg directed and awesome
eZistenZ - David Cronenberg directed and awesome If you like Inception watch this.
Event Horizon - too bad they did not save the deleted footage which was deemed too graphic back then before movies like Hostel.
John Dies at the End - a quirky movie that is original and entertaining even if not perfect.
The Fog - John Carpentar directed
The Ghosts of Mars - I have not seen it nor recommend but it is was written by John Carpentar while doing Halloween 3 where he wanted to do Halloween movies as unconnected individual stories.
