FreedomPop has outrageously inconsistent pricing for plans

I noticed that some of my accounts are showing current data plan name "Pro 500" and among available plans the Premium 2 GB plan is quoted as $19.99/month. Other accounts are showing no Pro 500 plan and the same Premium 2 GB plan is showing $24.99/month quote!

What is going on with FreedomPop!

With some of the stuff I've read about FreedomPop lately, I'm starting to wonder if the end is near. If it does come to an end, I'm thinking about trying life again without a cell phone. I'm looking forward to that experiment, so I'm kind of ambivalent on FreedomPop's future.

I've posted the following comments in another thread:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It seems FreedomPop is running different promos at the same time:
-- The 3 months promo.
-- 500 promo, which is 500 minutes/500 texts/500 MB (or 1000 MB when adding 10 friends), Costs $0.99/month
-- 1000 promo, which is 1000 minutes/1000 texts/1000 MB (or 1500 MB when adding 10 friends), Costs $4.17/month, but its a prepaid plan for $49.99/year.
-- $0.99 Sim with one month trial.
......

I found it's very confusing for new customers and even for old customers. Only after you purchase the sim card, you can see the upgrading plan options and service options (voice mail, data roll over, MMS...) in your account. And these options and prices are different for the Sim cards purchased from different promos.

Currently I'm using the free plan. I'm very interested in the 500 and 1000 promos. But I have to buy a new Sim card and then asking to swap the numbers, adding new friends... It's very inconvenient. Plus I already put credit money in my old account. I suggest FreedomPop gives all the plan and service upgrading options to all customers (old and new). I believe many of us would like to try these options like 500 or 1000 plans and the prepaid annual/semi-annual premium services.

Do you know if the "1,000 promo" can get the additional 500MB/mo with Freedom Friends like free account can?
I asked the same question to FP, and the answer is Yes.
