https://www.newegg.com/Product/Pr...6817438093 I had bought this fully modular Evga SuperNOVA 750W G3 ,yesterday. Will be $80 AR. So, $30 more than the OP. But I liked it being fully modular, and compact in size. Anyone have thoughts on the two?

You pretty much answered it yourself. Do you want modular or semi modular? I personally don't care and would get this. Modular is a little gimmicky. Otherwise they are both nice psu's

Are u gonna do custom cabling ? If so then stick with the modular one . Evga is also known to have many more options as far as custom cabling is concerned . Same goes for corsair. The rest not so much ... again if you care about that stuff

This will be my first fully modular power supply. The motherboard is MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon. One interesting feature is that is has LED control on board, and a socket to extend it. The pin outs just happen to be the same as this 'TV" LED strip is: https://slickdeals.net/f/10648848-60-off-tv-led-backlight-strip-6-6ft-60leds-for-24-60-inches-tvs-6-ac-fs-prime?src=SiteSearch

Thus, I guess the modular will work better, to allow for a cleaner look. It's all aesthetics, and will be the first time I've done that.
As for the EVGA supernova G3, it seems to rate well, and have a 10 year warranty.

I've been using this psu for some time now and it's worked fine. My thoughts on the modular vs semi....a lot of semi modular psu's only have the 24 and 8 pin cpu power that you can't remove but are both needed for a build so there really isn't much of a difference with excess cable.

I bought this for my R5 1600 build and so far it's been great. Running strong for 3 months with no issues. I like the flat black cables and that it's semi-modilar
