Good find, thanks. They have an offer where if you pay the regular price of 19.99 you can get a gc for 10% more than the sale price.
Wondering If I use my freecash points or regular points to buy it, will I still qualify for the gc??

Also, how about this set which has both metric and standard sockets for the same price.

I realize some of the socket sizes are different but which is more useful for DIY jobs around the house and working on my Toyota. Should I go with the 2 sets OP linked or is this one good enough?

It is up to you. IMO, the set you mentioned is more for the light duty jobs in house. It just has the small size sockets and the 1/4" drive ratchet. If you plan to work on your cars you will need to buy more bigger sockets in addition. Ex: you may need socket 14mm or 17mm for the Toyota oil drain plugs.

True, but I remove drain plug with a wrench rather than socket.

I have both of the sets mentioned in the OP's post, and have had them for about 7-8 years and they work well. I use them for many things, including light automotive work, like removing brackets and interior panel. Probably would not swap an alternator or do major work with them, but have use them in a pinch for larger work.

The Evolv set listed in the other post is a much lighter duty set, and I would not expect them to last as long. They also don't have the same warranty that the others do.

My Civic Si uses a 17mm for the oil drain plug as well.

Yeah so which one is more useful. I have no idea what's difference in use between metric and imperial
