Lowes deal of the day gives you 30% off this 8 tool kit, $349, from a regular price of $499. These tools are their higher end models that are cousins to their DeWalt products, opposed to the B+D variants.

5% off additional with lowes CC, and 10% off for vets/active military personnel

Also Slicker if you use the $90 for $100 Lowes GC deals from the past two months. I also got a $10 off appreciation coupon in the mail yesterday.

Includes 1/2-in drill/driver, 1/4-in impact driver, 6-1/2-in circular saw, reciprocating tiger saw, jigsaw, oscillating multi-tool, cut-off tool/grinder, LED flashlight, two batteries, charger and 2 kit bags

You'll need to go to the full site from your phone, then go advanced when editing the post. Unfortunately, the is no way to do it from the mobile site or app.

I have been thinking about this exact combo set for a little while and looked at Lowe's yesterday. This is a really good price and the lowest I've seen for new.

Now the question is will it be cheaper on a Black Friday sale?

Those coupon codes are likely to be one-time-use codes, generated through a mathematical exploit, that Lowes has already sent or soon will be sending to innocent customers who will lose their legitimately obtained discounts if someone else uses their one-time-use codes before they do.

To get on their lists to occasionally receive your own legitimate coupon codes, sign up for texts, emails, and their in-store events, and create a MyLowes account (with receive emails box checked).

I've got the drill and impact driver. Accidentally spilled a bunch of antifreeze on the impact driver recently. I took off the battery, rinsed it off under the hose and let it dry and it still works great. Pretty impressed with the quality on these.

Flashlight is pretty awesome too.

Would be nice if you could add to the original post which tools are actually in this so people who already have them don't have to click the link.

"Includes 1/2-in drill/driver, 1/4-in impact driver, 6-1/2-in circular saw, reciprocating tiger saw, jigsaw, oscillating multi-tool, cut-off tool/grinder, LED flashlight, two batteries, charger and 2 kit bags"

Total came out to $340.xx after $40/$200 coupon.

I'm starting from scratch. Is this set a good set to start off with?

I hate their kitbag.. Whatever happened to the good old molded plastic case?

The kit bag is dust magnet and it is not easy to dust off either. Frown

That said, this is quite comprehensive set. Alas, I have drills/circ. saw/jig saw/oscillating saw. I do not like to use battery powered circ. saw. It seems to bog down too much.
