Discover is also giving 5% off in rotating category for this quarter, in case if you dont have red card.

Even though it requires DPP, could be a good deal depending on WHEN Target gives you the GC.

GOOD if they give you the GC immediately or mail it within a few weeks, then great, you've bagged the GC and can pay off the DPP and have no more obligations.

Bonus would be if GC could be immediately used on the spot as a down payment. Especially helpful if you don't shop at Target often, and want to use up GC so you don't have to keep buying stuff at Target.

BAD if GC takes too long or is tied to DPP, then you're screwed having to satisfy the DPP for months or years.

$150 GC is given after activation of line on the spot. This GC cannot be used on the spot for down-payment of phone.

If you are getting 2 phones, GC received from 1st phone can be used on the spot for down-payment of 2nd phone.

did this on Sunday. Got the $150 gc immediately. Also will get a $15 gc every 3 months for up to 24 months if you keep the device...so essentially $270 off $799 for the 8 plus 64gb. Not a bad deal IMO...

Blcfla, where did you find the details on the $15/every 3 months bonus GC? Sounds like a great deal if true. Do you have a link I could try to confirm the fine print?

The fine print can be found if you browse their site and look at the weekly ad. I believe the only way you would lose out on the additional $120 worth of GC's is if you get a new phone before the 24 month installments are done or cancel the plan etc etc but if you keep the same 8/8+ the whole 24 months you'll end up receiving all 8 of the $15 GC's

At the time of application process - they will put red card in system. Ask them about $15 GC every 3 months offer and they will do the needful.

I didn't get you tax query - you meant to say you don't want to pay taxes with red card?

Looks like they have a similar deal this week but now is a $100 GC instead of $150. Wife's old iPhone is flaking out and just started looking. Wish I saw this earlier.

Dip or wait for BF....hmmmmm
