Looking for a robot vacuum that can handle the average carpet and rugs. The reviews claim that this could struggle. Anyone want to chime in?

I have this exact robot for my first floor (kitchen + living room) and we love it. We have hardwood and a couple thick rugs and it has no issue. It does a great job with it. We have high end super thick carpet upstairs and it works on it but moves slow. I would think it would be fine on average carpet, but it seems to work best on hardwood.

Looks like it has been at this price before on slickdeals and it was pretty popular. This is also much cheaper than iRobot.
