LG OLED65B7A -- $1999 BuyDig on eBay (REFURB)

eBay Daily Deal through BuyDig. LG OLED65B7A for $1999. Listed as manufacturer refurbished. In my experience BuyDig items listed as refurbs are usually new but with the packaging opened and resealed. This lets them sell at a low price without violating manufacturers' minimum retail pricing policies for "new" product. They ship via FedEx and TV's are double boxed.

Because it's a refurb, you won't be able to use credit card price protection, but this is a good price for anyone who doesn't have a PP card for some reason, is capped for the year, or is skittish about relying on PP to hit their price point.

Pretty sure this is the first time a reputable seller has offered a 65" 2017 OLED for under $2,000.

Is there any warranty on LG manufacturer refurbished products?

Edit: Called buydig, only 90 day warranty. For an extra $200 you can get one brand new with full warranty, price protection, etc. Otherwise wait another few weeks.

Giving up price protection before blackfriday seems like a bad idea.

BuyDig says warranty included. I haven't done a refurb TV from them, but I bought SJ9 and UP970 then "open box" and LG registered them as new and honored full warranty. Pretty sure they'll clarify that if someone calls.

No price protection on something sold as refurb- so it's a horrible deal compared to buying new regardless of the warranty question.

And LGs actual warranty (for the TV anyway) explicitly says it only covers TVs sold as new- so if your receipt says refurb you're not getting coverage from LG, even if the system lets you register it.

I saw a brand new B7 on Amazon, sold by a third party seller. Would I be able to use CC chase price protection if I request the seller a separate invoice?

Probably not, because the actual charge to your card will be from Amazon, so you'd need an amazon invoice with only the TV on it.

but Beach and others sell the same set at the same price and can provide a clean invoice for PP purposes
