Sold by Lotos Technology (the manufacturer) via Newegg. Free shipping

This is the cheapest I've seen even without the gift card and 8x eggpoints which should equate to another $23.

Amazon link is the LT5000D and Newegg link is LTP5000D which has a pilot arc. If you scroll down the Amazon link it has a good comparison chart

I have this. Cutting metal with the plasma cutter is addictive. It's so much fun. Stay away from your car, you might be tempted to "customize" it.

This will be my first venture into plasma cutting, but have been eyeing this unit for over a year now. How fast are you running through the consumables?

Can I use this to cut old cast iron pipe that was used for draining waste water in my house?

I have this, it is great cutter. Make sure you order your consumables with it. ONE OTHER POINT TO KNOW, you need to have an air compressor to be able to use the cutter.

Great price. Any of their welders worth buying for occasional intercooler/exhaust welding?

This is a great price on the pilot arc model. This is the one you want. I would have purchased this but I recently bought the Ramsond model with the built in air gauge.

Way overkill. Requires skill and experience to use in enclosed spaces safely.

A sawzall and a demolition blade will get it done for under 100.

If you can borrow the saw you just should buy a big pack of Diablo demo blades and give them to the saw owner.
