You can tell these are totally real, completely legitimate Apple Lightning cables because it says 'OEM' right in the eBay auction title and the seller swears he wouldn't lie.

You're definitely better off buying these than waiting for the Best Buy MFi certified Dynex cables to go on sale for two bucks again, like they do all the time.

We can't. I'm just saying the seller is not listing ut as new.

I'm never buying "OEM" lightning cables on ebay again. So many fakes that are so close it's unbelievable.

There's a couple of MFI certified ones like the Dynex one that goes on sale pretty often. The other one being the "Key" one.

I've tried 3 or 4 "OEM" ones and they all break after a month or so. Not worth the trouble.

These are not the real brand, but Chinese. They will break.
I buy generic, but there is no way to tell how it is rated on Amazon.

Haha, right, thanks for saving me the raised blood pressure of going to the description and seeing that nonsense.

"Yapper_Wireless" seems like a totally legit seller. Check the negative reviews - lots of people complaining that it's fake or doesn't work.

Hey mods - how come I can upvote this "deal" but can't downvote? When I downvote I get the error message "No permission to vote in a closed thread". When I upvote, it works (and now I've upvoted to test and can't remove that).

Yeah, this is BS. Is it because the vendor paid SD, so we can't downvote? Scratchchin

Looks like you can downvote by clicking the "View Forum Thread" button. Still shady

For $5, guess it's worth a try for the Google USB-C. I can use it as a backup.
